How the Democrats in Congress Can Win Back the American People

Just in case the Democrats in Congress are not aware: Americans are not happy that you are trying to cram a health care reform bill down our throats. Most Democrats do seem to be aware of the fact that the health care reform bill is very unpopular. They know that they are risking losing in the polls in November if they force their bill through Congress using an unpopular loophole.

However, just because the bill in it's entirety is unpopular, does not mean that the individual laws and regulations within the bill are unpopular. In fact many of the individual proposals in the bill are welcomed by the American public such as the one regarding pre existing conditions.

If Congress wants to win back the hearts and minds of the America public, all they need to do is pass the individual laws that the American people want. They should scrap the health care reform bill that is currently on the table and the one that Obama is proposing.

Congress can then write a new proposal that is simply based on all of the laws and regulations that the American people want to see in health care reform. This slimmed down version will be quite short and very palatable to the American people.

Congress would once again have the support of the American people which would make it very easy for them to pass the bill.

That being said, of course, they will not do it. Congress does not do what is right or what the American people want.

I predict that Congress will either pass Obama's new health care reform bill and anger so many Americans that they will lose many congressional seats in November OR they will pass nothing at all.

The Democrats in Congress simply do not seem to know how to do their job.

Congress Should Pass the Health Care Reform Points Agreed On

Obama is trying his best to strong arm his health care package through Congress. It is hard to believe that he may actually achieve this feat.

Americans are wondering, why can't Congress create a bill with all of the points that Democrats and Republicans agree on so that the American people can have a better health care system?

The reason they will not create a bill with only the things that everyone agrees on is because they want to shove garbarge down the throats of all Americans. Congress and the President would never allow a bill that had full Republican and Democrat approval because a bill like that would only have things in it that Americans want.

If the Democrats are stupid enough to push through Obamacare they will regret it later this year because American will vote them out of office. Obama and Congress think that Americans are stupid, but they will find out that Americans will vote them out of office.

President Obama wants Health Care Reform No Matter What the Cost

How irresponsible to force a health care bill no matter what is in the bill. President Obama wants congress to pass the health care reform bill even if it will cost trillions of dollars, even if it will make health care worse for most Americans so that illegals and uninsured Americans can get crappy health care.

Everyone that has private health care right now through an employer or otherwise will have to pay more for their health care and get less in return as a result of this health care bill.

Why would any one want a public option for health care?

I know three people on the current public health care plan called Medicare.

Two of them can afford a supplemental health care plan such as Horizon to make their Medicare half way decent. The third person cannot and receives only what Medicare gives him.

The current Medicare system sucks. Why doesn't Obama fix what he already has control of? Why would Americans want a new health care system run by the government?

Obama's health care reform bill that just passed the house over the weekend but by the grace of God will not pass the senate, assumes that many companies will just pay the fine and not follow the rules. What a horrible assumption.

Obama's health care plan will cost the government, businesses and insurance companies trillions of dollars. That cost will trickle down to tax paying Americans in the form of new taxes, less insurance and higher co-payments and premiums.

Don't throw in the towel yet

I know that things are not looking good for conservatives right at this moment, however, I just want to let everyone know that I am hopeful and I know that Americans can and will persevere in the long run. I am not ready yet to give into Pat Buchanan's ideas that we are headed to the end of this great nation as written in his book "Death of the West". I do realize that we are coming dangerously close, but we can still pull it out if we try hard enough.

The first thing we need to do is find a decent President. It is absolutely crucial that we put up a viable candidate in 2012. I, of course, am still secretly hoping that we will get rid of the current President by proving that he was born in Kenya, but I digress. Obama's radical moves in his first week has opened the eyes of some of his kool aid drinkers. As they fall to the ground, a few of them are realizing that the kool aid was poisoned. I cannot count on enough of them realizing it in time. To best prepare we must find a good conservative candidate and get him prepared for the election in 2012.

I realize that being the President of the United States is not the easiest job in the world and it is difficult to find someone to take on such a task. We will need a lot of time to find someone so let's get started now. And please, no Sarah Palin, she is a great gal, but I do not think it is feasible for a variety of reasons.

Put on your thinking caps and start asking around.
